Haunter Wallpaper

I'm learning to use Zbrush, and this was the first model that I made. I didn't super refine it, but thought that it was at a good enough level for me to use as a base for a demo painting. I wanted to see how I could take a sculpture I made in Zbrush and try to edit it in Photoshop to create a painting, or composite. I'm going to be learning more on how to make actual composites by using the different render passes in Zbrush to try and control the look I want from my model in Photoshop. As a first test I don't think that this turned out too bad, and for those hardcore Pokemon fans who may notice that Haunter doesn't have any floating hands, I tried to work on creating some hands, but realized I'm going to need more practice to sculpt them properly, so I figured I'd try to make do with what I have and see what kind of result I end up with anyway.

I'm very amazed at how awesome Zbrush is to use, and I really look forward to when I can actually purchase the program, and I'd really like to try using Keyshot for Zbrush to really create the textures and lighting I want, render them and import them into Photoshop to try and add that extra level of realism. This is a whole new workflow for me, but I'm very excited to learn it and will continue to keep practicing using 3D and how I can implement my models into 2D concepts and illustrations.

I hope you guys like how this piece turned out, and I look forward to working on some more models in the very near future!

By the way, please forgive the low resolution in areas, I realized later that the image was a bit too low res, and even when I enlarged the image (kind of a big no no imo), I tried to work on making the image look better, but unfortunately I couldn't quite escape the low res feel. Also, remember, this was more or less a demo to see what I could even do with this, which honestly turned out better than I thought for a first time go through. :)
