Hello (Female/Robot Design)
Hey guys, here’s a new piece I’ve been working on the last couple of days. Turned out a bit more suggestive in the middle stages than I originally was going for, but decided that I’d go ahead and see the piece to the finish.
Despite the suggestive nature of this piece, I do like the overall aesthetic that I’m working on trying to develop, and I have several more ideas that I’d like to try and see if I’m able to come up with something that falls more in line with what I’m actually aiming for. Right now a lot of this is just trial and error, but I’m hoping that soon I’ll have a design/style that I can play around with more and look the way that I’d like it to.

Beginning sketch to give me a general guide for my painting.
Beginning the painting process and exploring the design of my character.
Continuing to refine my overall design while adding in some new elements that I felt would fit the piece.
Adding in a couple of details, such as the tassels on her outfit.
Refining my painting further and trying to figure out my light setup.
Final result after smoothing certain brush strokes to give some surfaces a smoother feel to them, and refining a few edges.
